An important message from your teacher!

First Rule is there are no rules! -- If you have taken a class with Carol before you will know how well she can adapt and work with you at your level. Come and have fun with Acrylic Paints, Big Brushes, and a blank canvas!

And any rules you may have learned, or heard of are not your friend. FORGET THEM ALL! --- Let your instincts lead you. Just put paint on canvas (preferably colors you like), and see what happens. And if you don't like what you see, so what! It doesn't mean anything. Just let the paint dry (partially dry is OK) and do it again. - Use a hair dryer.

What I heard from my fellow students is this: "I'm trying to learn to loosen up, to stand back, rather than peering at the canvas close up Trying to be more intuitive and free."

MY SECRET IS - Don't worry! There are lots of very inexpensive paint and canvas. Let yourself experiment. The bottom line is . . . "If you don't like what you see, just dry it a bit and paint over it"
