In its simplest form, this art can be learned by understanding the concept of segmentation and pattern building, which leads to developing patterns using geometric shapes.

As your mandala skills increase, you will learn to integrate free hand drawn patterns alongside geometric designs.

This 2-hour course starts with building pattern designs on graph sheets. Once the students understand the concept of drawing proportionate structures, they create grids on blank sheets of paper and draw patterns within. Lastly, the students learn to color the outlines using colored pencils, or watercolour ink pens.
